The question: This week, HKS announced that Liberia’s president will give this year’s graduation address. If you had your choice, who would you pick as commencement speaker and why?
Kareem Talhouni, MPA/MC: “Cynthia McKinney for President and for commencement speaker. Feel clean - vote Green.”
Mawadda Damon, MPP2: “Kemal Dervis. I would plan to corner him in search of a job. I’d stun him with my negotiation and communication skills acquired at HKS until he is convinced the UNDP can’t live without me!”
Massi Santini, MPA/ID2: “It depends. I lured my folks in Italy with, ‘hey, c’mon, commencement is going to be a super event and Harvard will invite some fancy world leader.’ When they find out the Harry Potter author is the university commencement speaker, they may begin to wonder…”

Naseem Khuri (MPP2) is Culture and Photo Editor of the Citizen. Prior to his time at the Kennedy School, Khuri worked as an Associate at CMPartners, a consulting firm specializing in negotiation and conflict management training and coaching.
